CCT Inc. Inc. specializes in providing Engineering and Technical Personnel to manufacturing companies in Southern Ontario. We can provide personnel on contract or permanent placement to meet project demands, overload work, specialty work, or additional staff requirements.

CCT Inc. was established in 1993. Our Associates are placed with many of southern Ontario’s leading manufacturing companies. We have long-standing relationships with many of our clients. For some of our customers we have become the sole supplier of Engineering and Technical Personnel.

Bob Van Slyck, CET, RPR
President

I Grew up in the Southern Ontario cities of Ottawa, Kingston, Chatham, Stratford, London and Kitchener/Waterloo.
In a good candidate, I look for intelligence, sense of humour, sense of purpose, communication skills and upbringing. One who combines leisure time and work time with a compassion and drive for work. My special interests include High End Cars and the Automotive Industry in Ontario.

Bob is responsible for the management and administration of day-to-day operations and sales in Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Hamilton and Burlington. Bob is an Electronics Technologist graduate from Fanshawe College in 1971. He has over 30 years experience in Service, Sales and Management functions in Manufacturing and Engineering related industries in Southern Ontario. Bob is past Chairman of the Program Advisory Committee for Mechanical Engineering Technology at Conestoga College in Kitchener. He also presently chairs the Program Committee for the Grand Valley Chapter of the Ontario Association of Technicians and Technologists. Over the past 10 years Bob has held many positions with OACETT including Regional Councilor.

Bob’s excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills combined with ethics, and astute business and entrepreneurial talent helped him establish and grow CCT Inc. Inc. into a profitable and successful Engineering Personnel Agency. Bob’s achievements were recognized at the OACETT, Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists, special awards presentation in Toronto in 1995. 

  

Rob Van Slyck, BA, CPC
Search Consultant

I grew up in the South Western Ontario cities of London & Kitchener-Waterloo. In a good candidate I look for intelligence, common sense, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound technical training combined with the ability and desire to continue to learn. Flexibility, adaptability and a positive outlook combined with the desire overcome obstacles to achieve success are essential. My special interests include running, hockey, baseball, swimming and spending quality time with my wife and two children.

Rob is responsible for Client Customers in St.Thomas, London, Stratford, Woodstock and Ingersoll. Rob graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a BA in 1991. He completed a Human Resources Certificate program at Conestoga College in 1997. Rob obtained his C.P.C., Certified Placement Consultant, Designation – an internationally recognized designation in the Personnel Industry in 1998. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Human Resource Management degree from York University. Rob has over 14 years practical experience in the Engineering & Technical Personnel Industry – the last 12 with CCT Inc. Rob’s success is built on his professional, personalized approach combined with his attention to detail of both the Candidate’s and Customer’s specialized requirements

   
James Van Slyck, MBA, CMC
Executive Recruiter

James is responsible for originating and completing retained and contingent executive, management and university recruiting assignments contracted by CCT Inc. James has held executive positions in finance, marketing and manufacturing with corporations in Kitchener/Waterloo, Montreal, Hamilton, San Francisco, New York, and Toronto. James was a Strategy Consulting Principal with a major international consulting partnership. He has carried out business transactions in the Middle East, Latin America, Asia and the Caribbean. 

James former executive mandates included locating, recruiting, training and managing talent available in Canada and the United States for leading corporations. James draws on international business connections and expert knowledge of competency-based recruitment and selection techniques to execute his searches. His direct Silicon Valley experience sustains understanding of the essential management ability required in building a brand or early-stage technology companies into “large-cap” organizations.

James holds an Honours Business degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business and is a Certified Management Consultant and member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants

  
David J. Varley, BA MPA
Search Consultant
CCT Inc. Recruitment is pleased to have David Varley work as a Search Consultant in Ontario. David is responsible for all Public Sector organizations in South Central Ontario employing engineering personnel. This Sector includes Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Governments as well as Municipal Utilities and Conservation Authorities. David has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Queen’s University, a BA in Political Science and a Diploma in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. For 26 years David held senior positions in municipal administration and has also been teaching Business Studies for the Adult Education Department of the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. This followed a successful earlier career as a bush pilot, chief flying instructor, and airline pilot.

David’s knowledge and understanding of the public sector will be of great benefit to public sector hiring authorities. His proven experience with the hiring practices of the public sector will ensure the right fit for both candidate and employer.
  
Rachel Stewart, B.A.
Administrative Assistant

Rachel has been part of our team since 1996. Rachel continues to act as Administrative Assistant in various research, analysis and accounting functions.


CCT Inc. Representatives are paid commissions based on monthly billings in their geographic territories. A Sales Representative’s success is directly linked to both the Associate’s and the Customer’s level of satisfaction and overall success of each placement.
